Rita Bowers

I reside in a lake community, Hamilton, Indiana. Originally, I’m from a small West Virginia town along the Ohio River. My passion for art developed early and was my favorite subject in school. I took art classes at West Liberty State College in WV and have attended numerous lectures, workshops and studied with professional artists. Influenced by nature, landscapes are my subject of choice. I’m a plein air artist and the medium I prefer is oils. A current member of Northern Indiana Plein Air Artist, Artlink of Fort Wayne, Tri State Artist Guild and Steuben Arts Scene.
